Erin Martin
President

Erin Martin’s passion for helping others started at fifteen when she started working in a retirement community. Today, Erin holds a Masters degree in Gerontology from the University of Southern California, the first and #1 Gerontology school in the world. In 2017, Erin founded Conscious Aging Solutions to connect others with preventative and conscious approaches to longevity. She is certified in Regenerative Soil Advocacy through Kiss the Ground and is passionate about spreading jthe gospel of food is medicine and the link to soil health. Erin is the President and co-Founder of the Tulsa Urban Ag Coalition and the director of Oklahoma’s FreshRx Food is Medicine program.

Katie Plohocky
Vice President

Katie Plohocky is the founding Director and President of the Healthy Community Store Initiative, a non profit enhancing the health of Oklahomans by overcoming barriers to food access. As an Ashoka Fellow elected in 2020, she is dedicate to rebuilding a healthy, equatable food system through economic opportunities. She is also a Fellow with Boehringer Ingleheim’s Make Better Health Initiative and was elected a Women Leaders for the World Fellowship in 2021. She currently serves as the Chair of the Tulsa Industrial Authority. She presented at the 2018 TEDx University of Tulsa event, was honored as a 2017 Oklahoma Substantial Women in Agriculture and 2016 Tulsa Chapter of Association For Women in Communications Newsmaker Award. 

Anita Mills
Treasurer

Anita Mills is currently Garden Ministry Coordinator for Catholic Charities, mentoring and supervising volunteers of all ages to grow fresh produce for the kitchen and food pantry.  She is a co-founder of the Tulsa Urban Ag Coalition, Inc.  She is certified in Permaculture (2015), and completed coursework in Market Farming (2021).

 

Martha Detor
Secretary

Martha has been a resident of Tulsa for more than 10 years, having moved from Southern California. In California she served as President of her homeowners association board for 2 years. She has a varied business background including administrative assistance, event planning and real estate.  Martha sat on the board of the Orange County, CA chapter of the YWCA for 3 years and is an active volunteer with FreshRx Oklahoma here in Tulsa.  When she’s not volunteering you can find her on the local pickleball courts, on her bicycle, or knitting a sweater.

Justin Thompson

Justin Thompson is the Proprietor Chef of the Justin Thompson Restaurant Group, Co-Owner of Farrell Family Bakery, and Author of Trial & Error: Recipes and Lessons Learned by a Chef & Restaurateur. Justin is also involved in numerous charities in Tulsa, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Child Abuse Network, and as Co-Chair of their Donor Relations Committee. Justin and his restaurant group have contributed to over one hundred different charities in Tulsa since 2011, including the United Way, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Youth Services of Tulsa, Family & Children’s Services, Iron Gate Ministries, Catholic Charities, Philbrook Museum, Tulsa Ballet and many more.

Jack Titchener

Jack works for the NRCS and Oklahoma Conservation Commission as an urban soil health specialist. Jack has worked in production agriculture for 10 years and now has the pleasure and opportunity to help producers in their operations. 

 

Dr. Felecia Froe

Felecia Froe, MD is the owner of Money With Mission, an investment company focused on empowering professional women to build wealth and achieve financial freedom through social impact investing. As a real estate syndicator, Felecia has partnered with like-minded investors and has raised money for several social impact projects, including a residential assisted living home in Kansas City, Missouri focusing on providing elderly residents experiencing memory problems with personalized care. With her partners at the Eco Alliance Group, she is providing healthy food to food desert areas with indoor vertical farms and grocery stores. In addition to real estate investing, Dr. Froe is a licensed urological surgeon with over 20 years of experience. She has written many Best Selling books including "How to Create Wealth that Outlives You". Plus, she is an advocate for sharing the great work others are doing for their community through her podcast Money With Mission Podcast.

Dr. Nancy Grayson

Dr. Nancy Grayson is an experienced Public Health professional with a focus on achieving health equity and reducing health disparities. A dedicated servant leader, community organizer, educator, life-long learner, advocate for the underserved, and programmatic innovator.  Committed to collaborating with States and NGOs to design sustainable solutions to mitigate challenges to health and well-being for the subpopulations most adversely affected by unjust systems.  Particularly focused on solutions at the intersection of food injustice and health inequity. Prioritize engaging available resources to dismantle existing systems and structures that continue to unjustly burden Black, Indigenous, and other historically disadvantaged communities through transformational approaches that amplify the voice of communities

Chris Beach

Chris Beach is executive director of YouthWorks and oversees its 10-week Summer Dream Camp, 30-week after school program, YouthWorks Pizza Factory, YouthWorks Ranch, Trade Town, and the Thunder Court Basketball Outreach built by the OKC Thunder NBA team.  Chris is also co-pastor of Wesley Chapel, one of the 13 churches burned down in the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.  Each Sunday the church ministers to more than 100 homeless men and women, as well as the youth and moms from North Tulsa apartment complexes, conducts weekly homeless weddings and regular baby showers for low income moms.  Chris is also cofounder of several city-wide ministries in Tulsa to equip churches to serve families in poverty including Good Samaritan Health Services. Chris and his wife Anna have been married 25 years and have had 26 children in their home. Together, they oversee YouthWorks Ranch, a 20-acre farm that empowers foster children and the children of North Tulsa to learn agribusiness through fun hands-on learning in the areas of animal husbandry and multiple forms of gardening including its partnership with Better Day Farms, a 12,000 square-foot hydroponic plant to bless families in the community with nutritious food. Chris lives to glorify God in all he does.  

 

Kris Hutto

Kris Hutto is beginning her 7th season with the Tulsa Farmers’ Market and currently serves as Executive Director of the 501(c)(3) organization. Kris’ love of the natural world and passion for sustainable practices, and healthy fresh foods have driven her work in the local food scene in Tulsa, OK. Over the last 15 years, Kris has dedicated her time to the study and exploration of organic & regenerative farming, co-operative communities, and natural living with a primary focus in herbalism and integrative health. Kris also has over 15 years of management experience and is an ambitious gardener.

Kathryn Robinson

Kat Robinson is the owner, visionary and sarcastic voice behind Robinson Ranch, her family run business in Bixby, Oklahoma. Over the years, God took her on a journey of learning about health, food and community. After a rough season of being sick all the time, her family decided there must be a better way. They overhauled our diet to be mostly plant-based, started drinking kombucha and elderberry syrup and decided to start sharing what we learned. Kat has been gardening for 15 years, learning slowly how to grow food without chemicals and how to do it well. Robinson Ranch was born in 2017 out of a passion to help others be healthy!
